Swimming**Winner of the inaugural Queenscliff Art Prize 2022** **Winner of the People's Choice Award Biblio Art Competition 2021.** Originally painted for the Biblio Art prize run by Blarney Books in Port Fairy, 'Swimming' was inspired by a book called Cherry Beach by Laura McPhee Browne. Two girls, best friends from childhood. Friendship can be beautiful and complicated. Fine art prints on 100% cotton rag. Limited editions of 50. Signed, titled and editioned.

I painted this from a photo I took on a school excursion

They took me into their home and showed me the best of this incredible island

One of my friends even calls this dune 'Meditation Hill'
