Doodil CollectionA feauture of Doodil collection. A new design position which was introduced in the near end of the weaving process of the collection. The doodle designs we had worked on, predominantly fell on the body as bhuttas. However, just to break the uniformity, we contemplated on making the zentangle art taking over the complete pallu where the whole saree stood witness.

The body is inspired from wheels of bullock-carts which are still a means of transport in rural India

The border is closely woven with diagonal lines in pure zari

Original designs inspired from floor tile patterns seen in rural India predominantly in mustard and red combination

The body of the saree is royal blue and left plain with nothing but a strip of gold zari

The body carries miniature version of the same bhuttas with Tye and Dye patterns

Exclusive pure kanchipuram handloom silk saree in magenta pink with motifs of birds woven in pure zari on the body

The Pallu is "Rani Pink" with an ensemble of traditional Carnatic instruments such as Tabla and Veena

The border carries a Pallava dynasty's lead coin adaptation that glorifies the Surya
