Delbard Pondicherry

Delbard PondicherryA striking, small Semi Cactus dahlia, with a colour that needs to be seen to be believed! A dark yet iridescent purple burgundy, to which my images don't do justice. A large growing plant, with great stem length and an abundance of blooms, it makes for a fabulous cut flower.

it produced an abundance of blooms on good sized stems for picking

the golden yellow petals are highlighted by the bright orange-red underside

white collar and a yellow centre

with an abundance of blooms early in the season this makes for a great garden specimen

soft lemon centre opening up to a crystal white

but I think she is more of an informal Decorative

pink and orange tones

Growing on a medium size plant with good stems

produced good stems for picking and makes a good cut flower

I find it difficult to accurately capture it's colour
