Chateau Calvimont, La Quille Rouge 2022, GravesGrapes are grown on mixed gravel soil with sand and small stones that rest on oceanic limestone subsoils. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats with successive rounds of pumping over to allow a gentle extraction. After this the wine is run off and transferred to stainless steel vats for malolactic fermentation. Ageing takes place in stainless steel for 6 months. A nose with notes of red fruit and subtle
