Earthenware or stoneware. Medium shrinkage. Excellent general purpose clay for school use. Firing range: 1100 1290C
It fires to sandalwood colour
and becomes darker and slightly glossy at cone 10
This float "cracks"
which breaks a light yellow-brown over texture
semi-opaque
It is made of an incredibly durable
iron red glaze that breaks dark brown over texture and pools dark yellow-green
translucent
satiny surface
This glaze is great for layering with other Potter's Choice glazes
complex glaze that is a flowing blue where thick and breaks brown where thinner
but similar to a regular blue glaze
