SCHOEPS MK-2S OMNI-DIR PATTERN MICROPHONE CAPSULEThe Schoeps MK2S is part of the Colette series of modular capsules designed for use with the CMC preamplifiers. The omni directional polar pattern provides a generous pick up area at the main and off axis sections of the microphone capsule. The slight rise in high frequency response proves useful in stereo microphone arrays. When used in stereo arrays consisting of two or three microphones, the slight rise in high frequency provides a tonal balance
It can also be used simply as an isolation transformer for long microphone lines feeding unbalanced inputs or for any audio signal up to 0 dBv (
