I always recommend cutting deep early in the stems to encourage good stems
flower are produced on a small growing plant that has almost black new growth that lightens to a dark green over the course of the season

I found it a very tricky variety to capture it's true colour but you can see why it is in high demand
We found it had reasonable stem length and good vase life for us and with its more compact growing habit makes it great for the garden as well as a cut
that is best grown with support
