This self aligning, mountable aluminum alloy pillow block bearing uses a twin design for added bearing surface and shaft support. For self alignment, the inserted open shelled Simplicity plain bearing can tilt slightly within the housing to compensate for up to 1 2 misalignment from centerline in all directions, helping reduce binding from minor shaft deflection or parallel shaft
