Lewmar Polished Stainless Steel Anchor LockThis is a lightweight version of Lewmar's series of heavy duty cast chain stoppers. Windlasses are not designed to hold high loads while a boat is at anchor. When the windlass is not in use, and the boat is at anchor, the chain should be secured using a chain stopper, or this Anchor Lock for less demanding situations, or the rope rode should be secured to a high load bearing cleat. This is particularly important when a sea is running. Prevents damage
