"Backyard Sunset"BACKYARD SUNSET started out as a digital sketch of a small moment of interest I caught one evening as I walked up the steps of my house. I decided to make it into a painting when I had some time to sit and reflect on why the image meant so much to me. It reminded me of all the struggles of the past couple of years and how full my life is with simple, joyful things. I thought about all the people over the years who also bowed their heads to walk down this street and that made me smile

something that radiated warmth and love because that's what the Ti plant represents to me
