I cannot imagine this horn got much playing time. I think the poor horn sat in it's case most of its life! There are some minor surface scratches that I tried to capture with the pictures. I do not see any signs of previous dent work. The lead pipe looks absolutely amazing! The inside tubing is solid! The Bell Tail looks great with the Yamaha

The horn recently had an inspection

and each valve had a valve compression reading between 0

all of the tuning slides and valves caps moves freely

I have gotten some very good reception about this horn from players that have stopped by to test play horns

The previous owner of this horn had some serious pride of ownership

This horn has recently had the lacquer removed and was given a very light brushed finish

This valve cap will not fit Elkhart or Abilene Model Conn 8D French Horns
