Caol Ila 2013, Single Malt, IslayA 2012 Caol Ila single malt from indie bottler Signatory Vintage, matured in a pair of hogsheads for nine years, before being bottled in November 2021 as part of its Un Chillfiltered Collection. On the nose it displays bonfire ash and buttered oatcakes which leads into notes of root ginger and hints of drying seaweed on the palate. A warming finish of earthy spice and smoke.
